TEDxRenfrewCollingwood Announces First Round of Speakers

Finally! We know you’ve been waiting patiently – thank you.

The TEDxRenfrewCollingwood team has worked day and night to prepare a great lineup of speakers for this year’s TEDx event. We are extremely proud of these individuals and can’t wait to share their stories with you!

So without further ado, we are thrilled to announce the first five speakers who will take the stage on October 25th at Windermere Auditorium in Vancouver:

Ata Sina, Mechanical Engineering student working at the intersections of art and engineering;

Colin Easton, informal social scientist and creator of ‘The Stranger Project 2014’;

Jodie Ortega, artist and advocate for victims of sexual violence;

Ranbir Puar, who has a passion for instilling positive self-image in children;

Steve Fisher, user experience geek and content strategist who is working hard to bring some humanity to the web.

Each of these individuals has made wide-reaching and real impact with individuals and communities in Vancouver and beyond.  We believe they have Ideas Worth Spreading and invite you to join us as a member of our audience on this unforgettable day.

We’ll be announcing the next round of our 2014 speakers in the next few days!  Stay tuned….
